Kenji is a late twentieth century printmaker whose intaglio prints include about twenty featuring flowers and (or) birds. Ten of the latter are shown in this gallery. Click a picture to enlarge it. The featured objects were drawn in a semi-abstract way, with minimal color, and placed in a rural landscape setting. In some prints (e.g., prints 5-10) the landscape was only partially completed, perhaps to focus the viewer’s attention on the featured objects. To see more prints by Kenji click here.
